This Cookie Policy explains how The Full Stack Formula (operated by Bump The DSL, LLC, "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on thefullstackformula.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more generally.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences (such as the items in your cart or whether you are signed in) so you do not have to re-enter them each time you return. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage and software development kits, and we use the word "cookies" to cover all of them.
Cookies we use
Our store is hosted by Shopify, and Shopify sets a number of cookies that are necessary for the store to work. In addition we use a small number of analytics and marketing tools. The categories are:
-
Strictly necessary. Required to operate the store: keeping items in your cart, taking you through checkout, remembering your sign-in, preventing fraud and keeping the site secure. These cannot be switched off. Examples:
_shopify_y,_shopify_s,cart,secure_customer_sig,keep_alive,_secure_session_id. -
Preferences. Remember choices you make, such as your currency or country and whether you have dismissed a banner. Example:
localization. -
Analytics and performance. Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it, for example which pages are visited and how the site performs. Examples: Shopify analytics (
_shopify_sa_p,_shopify_sa_t,_landing_page,_orig_referrer). -
Marketing. Used by us and our advertising and email partners (for example Klaviyo, Meta and Google) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant offers, including on other websites. Examples:
_fbp,_gcl_au,__kla_id.
Shopify publishes a full list of the cookies it sets on merchant stores at shopify.com/legal/cookies.
Your choices
- Cookie banner. Where required by law, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies when you first visit. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Doing so may mean parts of the store, such as the cart and checkout, do not work correctly.
- Data sharing. You can opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page.
- Global Privacy Control. We honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser where the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
